Navigation system for the Emerald

The company "Transas" signed a contract with JSC "Shipbuilding Company" Diamond "for the manufacture and installation of navigational and tactical complex (NTC)" TRIM-22460 "on the coast guard vessel project 22460" Emerald "being built by order of Frontier Service of the Russian Federation.

Similar systems are already equipped with three first ship of the series. STC "TRIM-22460" — an integrated automated naval complex, which includes technical aids to navigation, marine environment lighting, communications, traffic control and coordinated maneuvering of the ship.

The integration of the navigation system with various ship systems and equipment (radar, sonar, lags, etc.) can significantly extend the range of tasks, improve reliability and efficiency of control of the ship, as well as reduce the total cost of equipment delivery.

When developing complex "TRIM-22460" is widely used computer network technology, making it possible to reduce the amount of cable routes, to increase the level of information security and comfort of service.

During 2012, on request of "SF" Diamond "company" Transas "had been delivered two sets of STC" TRIM-22460 "and held start-up installation work on the ships of the project 22460" Diamond "and" Pearl. "These ships have passed state tests and delivered to the customer — the FSB Border Service of the Russian Federation.

Previously, complex "TRIMS" was equipped with the lead ship of the series 22460 "Ruby", is currently carrying out tasks for the protection of state borders in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov border management PS FSB. In 2013-2014, planned production and delivery of STC "TRIM-22460" for two more ships of project 22460.
