The plant Butyl Rubber JSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" made solemn commissioning of the third unit of isolation and drying of rubber "Welding".
Start the new machine will open prospects for increasing production halobutyl rubber to 100 thousand tons per year and a total of butyl rubber — up to 200 thousand tons per year.

Capital investments in the construction of the third unit amounted to more than 600 million rubles.

"Nizhnekamskneftekhim" in 2004, the first in Russia mastered the production of halobutyl rubber. The company became the third in the world and the first manufacturer in Russia GBC.
The introduction of new technology was carried out in a classic case: the creation of technology in research laboratories, working out the process in a pilot plant, testing of prototypes — on domestic tire plants, development in industrial production. In parallel with the development of technology has been perfected and GBC technology of bromine analogues in Russia as well not exist.

In 2006 he was commissioned a second unit isolation and drying of rubber, "Welding" is the third vehicle in the production line of "Nizhnekamskneftekhim". As compared with two devices, embedded previously, it has twice the capacity.

In the whole process of development of halobutyl rubber production — the production of such complexity and scale can be called a record. For installing third unit isolation and drying of rubber were determined tight deadlines, to attract the best professionals divisions of the company and contractors. The wait staff for a new car is picked up from the number of highly skilled workers who have experience with building the first of two similar machines.
