Start the new machine will open prospects for increasing production halobutyl rubber to 100 thousand tons per year and a total of butyl rubber — up to 200 thousand tons per year.
Capital investments in the construction of the third unit amounted to more than 600 million rubles.
"Nizhnekamskneftekhim" in 2004, the first in Russia mastered the production of halobutyl rubber. The company became the third in the world and the first manufacturer in Russia GBC.
The introduction of new technology was carried out in a classic case: the creation of technology in research laboratories, working out the process in a pilot plant, testing of prototypes — on domestic tire plants, development in industrial production.
