No harvest of apricot and plum orchards remain the Krasnodar region

For horticultural farms of Krasnodar Krai Russia has not passed completely cold snap this week. On the almost total crop failure apricot and plum — according to producers of the southern districts of the province — at the moment.

By mid-March, the buds on these trees have already managed to "wake up" in the gardens of some have even started flowering. On this week’s cold in the Krasnodar region have reached a point — 6C °, so the trees being in such a state — were helpless before them.

Some other fruit trees, too, were under great threat. For example, — farmers are worried about peach orchards — as reported by the farmers.

Yet farmers are hoping that all the trees will be able to survive these cold bravely, and in the end — this year will be a good harvest for stone fruit.
