NPF Mikran will begin production of microwave equipment with their own element base

ZAO NPF Mikran (Resident of Tomsk SEZ — Special Economic Zone) in collaboration with Tomsk University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) will begin production of microwave (UHF) equipment based on its own element base in 2011, according to the governor of Tomsk region Victor Kress , who was speaking before the deputies of the regional Duma.

«This project will receive over 300 million rubles of federal funding. The same amount is going to provided by private investors of the Tomsk region, "- said Mr. Kress.

As reported, Mikran and TUSUR are planning to send 600 million rubles to build production line for fixed wireless broadband access and test equipment for microwave radar and telecommunications in the frequency range up to 50 GHz.
