OJSC Turboatom shipped to the last blade of Rosenergoatom

Completed shipment of equipment to modernize the 21 th turbine K-500-65/3000 Kursk, Smolensk and Leningrad nuclear power plant (Russia).

In February, for "Rosenergoatom" "Turboatom" has shipped the last three rows of rotor blades of the 4th stage.

The contract for the supply was signed in 2005. By its terms, the plant has implemented manufacturing and supply diaphragms and blades for turbines K-500-65/3000 modernization of OJSC "Turboatom" at three nuclear power plants.

During this time the plant has shipped to the customer 328 series blades 4th and 5th stages and diaphragms 328 4th and 5th steps to upgrade the low-pressure cylinders twenty-one turbine. To date, 16 turbines modernized and are in operation, and on each of them confirmed by the increase in capacity of 16 MW. Reconstruction of the remaining five units will be completed in 2012.

In total, the Kursk, Smolensk and Leningrad nuclear power plant consists of 11 existing units with 22 steam turbines with unit capacity of 500 MW set by "Turboatom" in the 70’s — 80’s of last century.
