Omsk KBTM launches mini-CHP


Today, Omsk Transport Machine-Building Design Bureau has received a certificate for their mini-CHP-based engine from the T-80, and intends to put it into mass production for the needs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

CHP "Volcano" was developed by the designers of "design bureau" on the basis of units of armored vehicles and technologies. Mobile mini-power station is fully automated, is located in a transportable container that runs on diesel fuel and is designed for the needs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Can be used as an alternative source of electricity and heat. — Such machines that produce both heat and electricity, almost no modern industry produces — the press-service of the company. After the tests, independent power plant with a gas turbine engine has received a certificate of conformity. According to this invention meets the regulatory requirements and can be put into mass production. The unique mini-CHP is still in her mobility. On the roof there is a special container handling equipment that allows easy enough to move it. The base modification CHP when working on liquid fuel produces up to 80 kW of electricity and 1.5 MW of thermal energy. KBTM is a holding company "Uralvagonzavod".
