Reconstruction of Izhevsk CHPP-1 — one of the largest investment projects of regional power. Construction of new power stations is a part of the priority investment project IES-Holding.
The project involves the construction of combined-cycle power plants with a total capacity of 230 megawatts, its implementation will allow a 4-fold increase in the installed electrical capacity Izhevsk CHPP-1 (from 69 MW to 290 MW) and decommission obsolete generating equipment, 50 per cent lower fuel consumption and improve the overall efficiency of the plant. The structure of PSU will include: gas turbine 167 MW waste heat boiler and steam turbine capacity of 63 MW. The total budget of the project is estimated at 13 billion rubles. Project completion is scheduled for December 2013.
December 25 at the Izhevsk CHPP-1 installation began the main part of the future of the gas turbine unit.
To date, the completed installation of the main flue heat recovery boiler flue installation finishes, prepared foundations for the input duct, a gas turbine unit, under the framework of the cooling tower, a fully finished basement of the main building, on the stage of completion of the unit pile fields for administrative building, fully mounted frame housing electrical facilities, now being assembled wall panels of the building.
Especially for mounting a gas turbine plant at the Izhevsk CHPP-1 delivered propelled hydraulic jacks lifting capacity of 400 tons. Samu turbo-delivered to Izhevsk in August. It is made at the Leningrad Metal Works Company "Power Machines". Turbo-mass — 192 tons, its capacity of 160 MW (it will become the most powerful turbine in the national energy system.) Despite the low temperatures, construction is under a week. Who is the object involved 350 experts.
