On the innovative development of Russia until 2020 allocated 24 billion rubles

The strategy of innovative development of Russia until 2020, adopted for its implementation are directed state program, approved in mid-July, and allocated 24 billion rubles, said Friday at a meeting on the development of innovative economy, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

"To finance the technical and technological modernization of the federal budget provided 24 billion rubles, but it is equally important that other relevant agencies are actively involved in the work of the technological platforms," — he said in the profile meeting.

Medvedev stressed that "the new government decided their organizational issues and is ready to continue active work on the foundation of an innovative economy", reports ITAR-TASS.

According to him, the work will be conducted within the framework of the Presidential Council, established on the basis of pre-existing commission engaged in innovative development. Medvedev said that he heads the Presidium of the Council.

Prime Minister actively involved in the processes of modernization, to adopt the best international practices and to invite foreign experts in academic institutions and universities.

"It is important that the relevant agencies are actively involved in the work of the economic platform," — said Medvedev.

According to him, there are different areas of application of these capabilities, including GLONASS, which is used including in automated accounting productivity, transfers RIA "Novosti".

"While not everyone is ready to accept it, even at the mental level, but it creates opportunities for the use of precision farming technologies", — said the prime minister.

He stressed that it is equally important to learn from and experience the world, to work with foreign research institutions, to invite foreign experts to universities.
