In the Lyceum "Physical-Technical School" the grand opening of a training class on nanotechnology-based scanning probe microscope NANOEDUCATOR II.

Training complex NANOEDUCATOR helps to motivate children and achieves good results in-depth study of the natural sciences, such as physics, chemistry and biology. Thus, in the Irkutsk high school number 2 during use NANOEDUCATOR significantly increased the number of winners in contests and competitions at various levels. In the three years immediately three men got out of the Lyceum 100 points on the exam. Pupils and students eyes light up when they can not only read about the molecules and atoms in the academic literature, but also personally observe the different molecular structures. Teachers interested in this approach to education, it is not surprising that the reports were accompanied by heated debate.

Training complex NANOEDUCATOR II allow students of the Lyceum "Physical-Technical School" immerse yourself in the wonderful world of nanotechnology and not only learn to use the techniques of scanning probe microscopy (SPM), but also to solve various research tasks.

The scanning probe microscope NANOEDUCATOR II entered the world market in 2011. Over the past year, these devices were equipped with 18 hands-on training classes in Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Poland and Kazakhstan. NANOEDUCATOR II has caused great concern in the international market, and immediately won a prestigious American award R & G 100 for the best research and development in 2011.

At the opening welcoming remarks were made by the winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Lyceum Jaures Alferov and President of Russian Society of Nanotechnology (NOR), CEO of NT-MDT Viktor Bykov.

The event was also attended by the leading teachers of schools, high schools and universities in Russia. Among them were those who had worked in a similar hands-on training classes. They prepared a special report, in which, based on our own experience, shared their vision of how the availability of training classes with NANOEDYUKATOROMAMI affect the education of pupils and students.
