The day before, at the 66th Cannes Film Festival, director of the St. Petersburg Daria Belov was awarded the "Opening" for the short film "Come and Play" (Komm und spiel), shown under the "International Week of criticism."
The film "Come and play" as short as 30 minutes, tells the story of the relationship between Russian and Germans after the Second World War. This picture — only the third work Belova and the only Russian-German pattern, got to the festival.
Daria Belov graduated from the philological faculty of St. Petersburg State University, then worked as a journalist, and later was admitted to the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin. In her confession, go to the Cannes Film Festival she had not expected.
