The Ministry has reviewed the attraction of investments in the agricultural sector of the economy, according to the results the largest share in the realization of the priority national project "Development of agriculture" from 2006 to 2007 and the state program of agricultural development in 2008-2012, according to the material.

"During this time, in the agro-industrial complex of the region involved about 170 billion rubles of investments, including those in agriculture — more than 60 billion rubles in the food and processing industry — 110 billion rubles," — said in a statement. 

There were implemented 78 investment projects currently underway are eight more. As a result of these projects created 170,000 places for animals, including cattle — 20,000 (of which the cows — 16,000) for pigs — 150 000, created the conditions for the maintenance of 2.7 million birds, which is comparable with the cultivation of more than 20 million broilers per year, added to the press-service.
