PAK FA made the first long flight

 

Fifth-generation fighter T-50 PAK FA performed the first long flight from Komsomolsk-on-Amur in Zhukovsky near Moscow. About this in his microblog on Twitter at Thursday, January 17, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.

According to Rogozin, the aircraft is equipped with almost full complement of avionics and surveillance and attack systems. Jan. 16, "Interfax" referring to a source in the aviation industry said that the fourth flight model aircraft (T-50-4) flew in from KnAAPO Gromov Flight Research Institute to continue the tests.

According to Rogozin, the path of KnAAPO T-50-4 made two landings — Abakan and Chelyabinsk. Distance from Komsomolsk-on-Amur to Zhukovsky — more than 8,000 kilometers. However, Rogozin wrote that the PAK FA overcame 7,000 kilometers.

The first three experienced fighter of the fifth generation (T-50-1, -2 and -3) in Zhukovsky delivered cargo aircraft.

Now in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, completing the construction of the fifth prototype of the PAK FA. By fighter flight tests, presumably, will start in March 2013. Fully flight tests of T-50 to be completed within 2-2.5 years. Mass production is scheduled to begin fighters in 2015 or early 2016. Then the aircraft will begin to enter the Air Force.
