Perm Opera soloist won the Grand Prix at the International Vocal Competition in the Netherlands
In the Dutch city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch soloist of Perm Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after PI Tchaikovsky, soprano Nadezhda Kucher received the highest award of the International Vocal Competition. Winning the prestigious competition was another major success for Hope Kutcher, famous for his interpretation of Medea in the Russian premiere of the opera Medeamaterial Dusapin in the Diaghilev Festival 2012.
Participation in the contest ended with the triumph in Hertogenbosch Hope Kucher. The singer won three awards: Grand Prix, Audience Award and an honorary prize named Hieronymus Bosch, which she shared with the tenor of the Netherlands Giyzbertsenom Peter (Peter Gijsbertsen).
International Vocal Competition in ‘s-Hertogenbosch is one of the oldest in the world. It’s held since 1954 every two years. In the course of its long history of the contest was often the starting point in the career of many famous singers.
