Russia and France signed a contract for the joint construction of two ships of the "Mistral" for the Russian Navy in 2011. The deal amounted to 1.2 billion euros. It is expected that the first ship — "Vladivostok" — will join the Russian Navy in the autumn of 2014. Bookmark the second ship — "Sevastopol" — took place in France on June 18 of this year.
