"Power Machines" has carried out a third party shipping large equipment manufactured by the company and designed to restore the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station (SShGES).
Heavy units for Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP hydro units were loaded on the ship, "Arsenal" on the dock at the Sverdlovsk waterfront in St. Petersburg. Then, through the White Sea-Baltic Canal, will be released in the White Sea, and more — on the Northern Sea Route to the mouth of the Yenisei. Then the ship will proceed up the Yenisei to Krasnoyarsk. Delivery of the last batch of large-sized equipment is scheduled for August of this year. At the request of JSC "RusHydro", "Power machines" carry out the order for the production of equipment for the recovery SSHHPP ahead of production schedule to meet the deadline navigation in 2012. The contract for the manufacture of main power equipment to restore the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station "Power Machines" and JSC "RusHydro", signed in November 2009. According to him, "Power machines" produce 10 turbines and nine hydro generators with a capacity of 640 MW, as well as six excitation systems. In addition, the specialists of "Power Machines" will provide services for installation of the supplied equipment, including installation supervision and commissioning. The service life of new hydroelectric will be increased to 40 years, with a maximum turbine efficiency 96.6%. Will improve its energy and cavitation characteristics.
