"Power Machines" has carried out the last batch of shipment of large equipment manufactured by the company and designed to restore the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station (SShGES).
Tyazhelovesnye units for Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP hydro units were loaded on the ship, "Arsenal" on the dock at the Sverdlovsk waterfront in St. Petersburg. Loaded on a ship with his ponderous hydroelectric units will pass through Ladoga and Onega lakes. Then, through the White Sea-Baltic Canal, will be released in the White Sea, and more — on the Northern Sea Route to the mouth of the Yenisei. Then the ship will proceed up the Yenisei to Krasnoyarsk. In Krasnoyarsk river port equipment will be handled on a river barge, which, breaking the ship lift Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station, with a river tug will deliver the goods to the dock site in the downstream Mainskaya power plant (located downstream of Yenisei 21.5 km from SShGES). This equipment will be handled by a special vehicle that takes hydroelectric units at the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP. The total route length of about 5900 km.
Since June 2011, the same way from St. Petersburg to the station were delivered nine sets of large equipment made "Power Machines" for SShGES. At the request of JSC "RusHydro", "Power machines" carry out the order for the production of equipment for the recovery SSHHPP ahead of production schedule to meet the deadline navigation in 2012.
In addition to made ten sets of large-sized units, to date, "Power Machines" manufactured and shipped to SSHHPP eight complete sets of hydro turbine and generator equipment. Production of the remaining two turbines and one generator is scheduled for completion by the end of 2012.
In 2010, at the Sayan-Shushenskaya HPP least affected were restored after crash hydraulic units with station № 6,5,4 and 3. In 2011 JSC "RusHydro" the beginning of the second stage of recovery HPP, during which the station in the engine room will be set 10 all-new hydraulic units. In this case, four cars returned to service in 2010 after the restoration repairs, will also be replaced. The first new hydraulic unit (under the station number 1) in accordance with the schedule recovery SSHHPP was commissioned in December 2011, the second (under the station number 7) — in March 2012. Also in mid-June of this year, was commissioned three new hydroelectric unit (under the station number 8).
Each year, before the end of 2014 at Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP, in accordance with the schedule of recovery will be commissioned on three hydroelectric. As a result, the station will be fully equipped with a completely new and modern equipment, with improved performance and compliance with all safety and security requirements.
Fabrication and installation of new hydraulic units for the power plant, including installation supervision and start-up operations, is "Power Machines". Under the contract, the concern will produce 10 turbines and nine hydro generators with a capacity of 640 MW, as well as six excitation systems (one new generator and four excitation systems already built and installed at the hydroelectric entered into operation after reconditioning in 2010).
The service life of new hydroelectric will be increased to 40 years, with a maximum turbine efficiency 96.6%. Will improve its energy and cavitation characteristics. Also, the turbine will be equipped with a more efficient system of technological protections acting on the automatic shutdown of the unit in case of unacceptable deviations regime controlled parameters.
