Power Machines manufactured the first steam turbine to Kazan CHP-2

OAO "Kaluga Turbine Plant" OJSC ("GTC"), part of the company "Power Machines", manufactured and successfully tested the first steam turbine with a capacity of 36 MW under construction for combined cycle power plants (CCPP) at Kazan CHP-2.


The contract for the supply of power was signed with "Management Company" KER-Holding "(Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan) in 2011. According to the contract of" GTC "will design, manufacture and supply two turbines T-26/36-7, 5 / 0.12 capacity of 36 MW each, and will also supply two turbo generators produced by "Electrotyazhmash — Drive" (Lys’va city of Perm region). within the scope of the obligations of "GTC" includes installation supervision and commissioning.

The tests were the first steam turbine at the test bench in the presence of a representative of the customer. In the production halls of "GTC" continues production units of the second car.

T-26/36 turbine is a condensing turbine with intermediate steam injection low pressure circuit and district heating controlled steam extraction. JSC "KTZ" has experience in designing and manufacturing these turbines. At Kazan CHP-2 set of "GTC" units will operate in a two-PGU-110.
