Power Machines manufactured turbine generator for power plant in Karaganda (Kazakhstan)

"Power Machines" manufactured and tested the capacity of 67 MW turbine generator designed to Karaganda power plant in Kazakhstan

The contract for the manufacture and supply of generator type T3FP-63-2MU3 complete with excitation system was signed with LLC "Kazakhmys" in May 2012. The delivery time of equipment — the fourth quarter of 2013.

The design of the generator rated power — 63 MW. However, at the request of the customer’s power was increased to 67 MW. Image output is made possible due to heating sufficient reserves for stator and rotor windings as well as with some reduction in temperature of cooling water at the plant.

Turbine generators, air-cooled series T3F capacity from 63 to 350 MW, produced "Power machines" are designed to interface with steam and gas turbines, both on newly constructed power plants, and for replacement exhaust the resource of machines of this series. Constructive solutions allow to achieve high efficiency.

In addition to the turbine "Power Machines" is also put on the Karaganda power plant steam turbine K-66-8, 8 capacity of 66 MW, which currently produces OAO "Kaluga Turbine Works", part of the "Power Machines". New turbine and generator will replace similar machines on the second power Plant.

Such equipment "Power Machines" is now made more for one of Kazakhstan’s station — Zhezkazgan CHP. The contract was signed with the LLP "Kazakhmys" in June 2012.
