OJSC "Power Machines" manufactured and tested air-cooled turbogenerator type T3FG 180 MW power unit Izhevsk CHPP-1.
The new turbo designed for interfacing with a gas turbine. It is designed and manufactured in the dimensions of the air-cooled turbo generator with capacity of 160 MW, which is producing a "Power Machines" series. Such generators are successfully used in power plants in Russia and abroad.
"Power Machines" deliver complete sets of equipment for the five new reactors being built as part of the investment program "IES-Holding". They will be the basis of combined cycle power plants in the Kirov CHPP-3, Izhevsk CHPP-1, Vladimir CHP-2, Perm CHPP-9 and Novobogoslovskaya CHP.
In accordance with the terms of contracts for each of these stations "Power Machines" will put a set of equipment consisting of a gas turbine GTE-160, the generator capacity of 180 MW, and a thyristor excitation system trigger to it, the automatic control system of gas turbine installation, integrated air pollution control devices and gas turbine auxiliary equipment. Completion of shipments of equipment is scheduled for the third quarter of 2012.
In addition, the duties of the "Power Machines" includes services chief supervision, customer training on the construction site, participation in pre-commissioning, as well as comprehensive testing and performance tests.
Earlier, in September and October this year, "Power Machines" passed generators to customers for Perm HPP-9 and the Kirov CHPP-3. Now "Power Machines" complete fabrication generator for Vladimir HPP-2, the deadline of which is scheduled for late 2011.
