The contract for supply of main equipment to equip the machine room NV NPP-2 and Leningrad NPP-2 (LAES-2) was signed between "Power Machines" and OAO "Atomenergoprom" in May 2008. At each nuclear power plant will be built on two power units with VVER power capacity of 1,200 MW. NV NPP-2 and Leningrad NPP-2 — is the first nuclear power plant to be built in Russia "from scratch" in the past 15 years.
Under the terms of the agreement, "Power Machines" provide the design, manufacture and supply for NV NPP-2 and Leningrad NPP-2 of the four sets of steam turbines, condensers and auxiliary equipment for the individual turbine systems, as well as four sets of turbine generators with equipment support systems, excitation system and the agent.

Turbine generators, which are designed and manufactured "Power Machines" for NV NPP-2 and Leningrad NPP-2 (LAES-2) are the development of a series of turbine generators with a full water cooling — high-performance turbo-generators for fire and explosion safety of nuclear power plants that have no analogues in the world nuclear power engineering. Fundamentally new structural solutions have been worked out by experts turbo power engineering concern on machines with capacity of 800 MW, operated for a long time at the Ryazan and Perm GRES as well as the capacity of 890 MW turbine generator, manufactured in 2010 for the building under the 4th unit of Beloyarsk.
Currently, the "Power Machines" produced two turbines and two turbo generators for NV NPP-2, and the first turbine and turbo-generator for the Leningrad NPP-2. Now the second node continues to manufacture turbines and turbine generator for Leningrad NPP-2.
