Retail trade turnover in Russia in March 2013. rose year on year by 4.4% and amounted to 1 trillion 838.3 billion rubles. Compared with February index rose by 8.3%.
The share of food products, beverages and tobacco products was 47.4%, non-food products — 52.6% (March 2012 — 46.9% and 53.1%, respectively).
Total turnover of retail trade in the I quarter of this year amounted to 5.2 trillion rubles

Russia's gross domestic product rose in March by 2.3% in annual terms. This was stated by Deputy Economic Development Minister Andrei Klepac.
