Russia will supply China 55 multipurpose helicopters Mi-171E

According to the contract signed in July, Russia will supply China 55 multipurpose helicopters Mi-171E, said Tuesday the deputy director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, declining to disclose the contract value.

Multi-purpose transport helicopter Mi-171E belongs to the family of the Mi-8 and is the result of deep modernization of the Mi-17. The helicopter was developed in OKB.
