Russian export of aluminum in January-February 2012 increased compared to January-February 2011 by 2.6% — to 547.8 thousand tons, according to the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of the Russian Federation.
The cost of supplies was $ 1.157 billion versus $ 994.5 million a year earlier.
Aluminum exports to foreign countries amounted to 538 thousand tons worth $ 1.134 billion, the CIS countries — 9.8 tons for $ 22.4 million
