Russian Innovation Week conference held in Boston

65 Russian startups will present their projects to investors in the U.S. opened in Boston Russian Innovation Week,
which will last until September 20. The conference is held for the second time, gathering representatives of the governments of Russia and the United States, heads of major international companies, venture investors and technology entrepreneurs.

The conference was organized Russian development institutions — JSC "RVC",
"RUSNANO"And Fund "Skolkovo". Russian Innovation Week is held under the auspices of the Working Group on Innovation-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission.

"The main purpose of the event — to demonstrate the potential of the Russian innovation industry, to help Russian investors and venture funds in establishing relationships with U.S. partners, and Russian technology companies in gaining access to capital and international sales channels. As a result of presentations to U.S. investors the most interesting Russian startups can apply for investment from U.S. venture capital funds and private investors ", — said in a press release of the event.

The agenda of the Russian Innovation Week is to discuss issues such as legal support for intellectual property, the development of innovation infrastructure and prospects for cooperation in the fields of energy, biotechnology, IT, telecommunications. In addition to the main program at the Russian Innovation Week scheduled special events for business angels, investors and representatives of Russian corporations.
