Russian paratroopers test new 120-mm mortars

Servicemen Air Assault Brigade of the Southern Military District held a live fire exercise with the new 120-mm semi-automatic mortars, said a spokesman Col. Igor Gorbul County. Shooting took place in preparation for the military-strategic exercises "Caucasus-2012", which will take place in the south of Russia in September.

Gorbul said that the calculations performed more than 30 mortars firing at a range of 800 to 8000 meters.
