Russian shipyards in 2010 transferred to the operation of 14 vessels with a total deadweight of more than 1.4 million tons

According to the information portal IAA, Russian shipyard built in 2010 and handed over for use of the transport fleet of 14 vessels with a total deadweight of more than 1.4 million tons.

In domestic shipyards in 2010, built and put into operation two Arctic tanker "Mikhail Ulyanov" and "Kirill Lavrov" 70 thousand deadweight tons each for OAO "Sovcomflot". The project is implemented on the basis of "Admiralty Shipyards" (St. Petersburg). Icebreaking tankers have a special feed, which allows the boat to move unaccompanied by an icebreaker in the winter when ice thickness of no more than 1.2 meters. Vessels intended for the transportation of hydrocarbons from offshore fields in the Arctic.

Also transferred into operation two chemical tankers with deadweight of 43 tons each for the Murmansk Shipping Company. Court built on the "Sevmash" (Severodvinsk).

In 2010, in order to improve the level of technical equipment of the government rescue units were built and put into operation 9 rescue boats. Vessels built by domestic shipyards and are designed for FSI "Gosmorspassluzhba Russia."
