Scientific developments of the Tomsk Polytechnic University won gold and silver medals at the 5th International Warsaw Invention Exhibition IWIS-2011, the press service of the university.
Experts have praised all four scientific developments of the Tomsk Polytechnic University, presented at the event. In particular, the gold medals were awarded to the following developments:
— Plasma-chemical technology of carbon nanomaterials and hydrogen from natural gas.
— Highly porous composite elastic osteoinductive coating for intramedullary implants.
— Technologies and equipment for plasma deposition of nanoscale coatings on materials and products.
In addition, the development of a "plasma-chemical technology of carbon nanomaterials and hydrogen from natural gas" is awarded the special prize of the Association of Inventors and Innovators Germany
Silver medal was awarded to the development of "High Intensity Technology zirconium corundum nanoceramics and production on the basis of its quality ceramic tool."
5th International Warsaw Invention Show IWIS-2011 was held from 3 to 5 November in Warsaw (Poland). Was organized by the Polish Association of Inventors and Innovators (SPWiR) under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Development Agency of Poland, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA).
