Shipyard Yantar build frigates for the Russian Navy

Ministry of Defense and Baltic Shipyard (CCL) "Amber" eve signed a contract for the construction of Project 11356 frigates for the general purpose forces of the Russian Navy in the state defense order for 2011. The information was the source of the Military-Industrial Commission under the Government of the Russian Federation, ITAR-TASS reported.
"The document is the fourth in a relatively small contract signed with the Ministry of Defense entities within the United Shipbuilding Corporation", — said the source.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defence signed contracts with enterprises USC — one with the "Admiralty Shipyards" and two — from the Far East "stars."
Not yet signed contracts with the "Sevmash" to build missile strategic submarine cruisers of the "Yury Dolgoruky" and multipurpose nuclear submarines of "Ash".
The Defense Ministry noted that "the difficult negotiations on these contracts in the last few days are every day in the bilateral format and within the framework of the interdepartmental commission" and stress that they have not been successful so far.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin demanded the end of August to conclude all remaining contracts for the state defense order for 2011.

The Prime Minister also said that the priority for the procurement of weapons and equipment will be given to domestic producers. "But at the same time it should be modern and useful, forward-looking and is acceptable to the customer — to the Ministry of Defense, and the count for the state — at a reasonable price," — he stressed.
Recall that President Dmitry Medvedev in the beginning of July, noted that the weapons can be purchased abroad if Russian producers are overpriced.
