Signed an agreement to equip the Spanish ships of Avante Russian arms


Russia will equip weapons Spanish patrol ships of the type Avante, intended for supply to third countries.

The relevant agreement within the International Exhibition of naval equipment and armaments "Euronaval 2012" concluded the Russian arms exporting company "Rosoboronexport" and the Spanish NAVANTIA, told RIA Novosti Rosoboronexport.

"This agreement was signed with a view to determining whether the supply and installation of Russian weapons on the ship platform Avante, created and promoted by concern NAVANTIA", — said the source. He said that the two companies will work on a joint product: produced by Russian companies weapons systems and components will be installed on the ship’s platform by concern NAVANTIA exclusively for export to third countries.
