Soyuz TMA-05M docks with ISS

Manned spacecraft "Soyuz TMA-05M", on July 15 launched from Baikonur, docked with the International Space Station (ISS), reportedtweeted NASA.

Docking occurred in the automatic mode, approximately at 08:51 Moscow time on Tuesday, July 17. After checking the tightness of connections and pressure equalization between the ship and the station astronauts will open the passageway and move to the ISS, according to "Interfax". This should occur at about 11:25-11:55.

On board the ship are Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko, NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Akihiko Hoshide. This is the 32th expedition went to the ISS.

The crew of the International Space Station will hold more than 30 scientific experiments and also to take part in the unloading of several transport ships. In particular, the Japanese truck will be delivered to the ISS five microsatellites. Their launch astronauts themselves.

On the ISS are currently Russians Gennady Padalka and Sergei Revin, and NASA astronaut Joseph Acaba.
