The court sentenced the ex-governor of the Tula region Dudka to 9.5 years

The second person involved in the case — Viktor Volkov — sentenced to 2.5 years in prison, but should be released in the hall in the court in connection with the departure of this period in custody and under house arrest.

According to the investigation, in November 2010, the then director of the Department of Property and Land Relations of Viktor Volkov, by agreement with the governor Dudka, through an intermediary received from the representative of JSC "Corporation" Green "a bribe of 40 million rubles. Investigators believe this amount officials estimated provision of corporate land in Tula in rent for three years for the construction of a hypermarket.

During the debate, the parties asked the prosecutor to sentence Dudka to 9.5 years in a penal colony.
