The flagship of the Ukrainian fleet back in service

The flagship of the Navy (VMSU) frigate "Hetman Sagaydachny" is back in operation after a planned factory repair. This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of Defence.

Were also carried out training of the crew and worked personnel actions during emergencies at sea, in particular, the crew of the frigate demonstrated the development of a universal on defense and damage control.

According to preliminary estimates, the access to the sea has demonstrated satisfactory performance units and mechanisms of the ship and the crew prepared for the execution of tasks.

As previously reported, on August 22, the frigate "Hetman Sagaydachny" stood up to the dock for repairs Sevastopol Marine Plant.

In November, the Ministry of Defense stated that it intends to send the frigate "Hetman Sagaydachny" to take part in anti-piracy operations of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) "Ocean Shield" in the summer of 2013.
