Kirov Plant signed a contract for the supply of its products with the Swedish company Bear Arms
Manufacturer of small and hunting weapons Vyatsko-Polyansky Machine Works "The Hammer" has signed a contract with the famous Swedish company Bear Arms for the supply of its products to Sweden, the press service of the plant.
An agreement on cooperation in the supply of arms to Sweden was the result of his visit to the plant by representatives of the Swedish Trade Bear Arms, which is engaged in the supply of weapons not only in Europe but also in the U.S. market.
Initially, the company expressed interest in hunting rifles, created on the basis of military weapons, but guests interested in visiting the factory and new development — "Toucan", "Griffin", and others.
"I believe that our cooperation will become a permanent and successful, and the contract — the first swallow," — said the deputy factory director of sales Michael Matasov.
In April 2013 the Court of Arbitration of the Kirov region brought in outside management at the "Hammer" for a period of 18 months. To date, the plant implemented anti-crisis program, and by 2014 will reach the break-even level.
Of "The Hammer"— "Vyatskopolyansky engineering plant" Hammer "(located in the town of Vyatka Polyana, Kirov region) — the leader among Russian manufacturers of sporting and hunting weapons and the largest exporter of these products. The plant also manufactures equipment for the oil-producing complex, gaz boilers, travel accessories and other merchandise. With subsidiaries in the company employs 2,950 people. In 2009 it was transferred to the Russian Federation as a material contribution to the authorized capital of the corporation "Russian Technologies". In 2011, production amounted to 1.09 billion rubles.
