The group of companies "Indastek" completed installation of basic equipment of all three cells outdoor switchgear (ORU) 500/220/35/10 kV substation "Amur", located in the district of Svobodny Amur region.
Installation work carried out within the framework of the substation expansion to increase electricity exports to China, as well as to improve the reliability of electricity supply grid Amur. The customer is the JSC "FGC UES".
In the course of work performed mounted 5 additional groups of 500 kV circuit breakers, disconnectors 10 sets, current and voltage transformers, and assembled a group of controlled shunt reactors.
According to deputy general director of the group of companies "Indastek" Vasily Tishchenko, work is continuing on the installation of the secondary circuit switching. The completion of all construction work is scheduled to end in 2011
As part of the expansion of the substation "Amur" will be wound up 500 kV "Amur — Heihe." Commissioning of a new 500 kV transmission line from the substation "Amur" to the border with China, which is scheduled for early 2012, will increase the export of electricity from Russia to China to 4.5-5 billion kWh per year.
Currently, the transmission of electricity to the territory of the PRC, to the region in the border city of Heihe, Heilongjiang Province, is in two interstate transmission lines, "The Annunciation — Heihe" (110 kW) and "The Annunciation — Aigun" (220 kW). Because of the low capacity of these lines is the maximum amount of power transmission limited 1.2 billion kWh per year.
