The loading of a network of Russian Railways in 2011 increased by 3% — to 1, 24 billion tons

Railways shipped coal — 296,200,000 tonnes (+3.5% against 2010), coke — 12.9 million tons (+2.8%), oil and oil products — 250 million tons (-1.1% ), iron and manganese — 110.9 million tons (+8.8%), ferrous metals — 73.5 million tons (+1.1%), ferrous metals — 20.2 million tons (-3.6 %), chemical and mineral fertilizers — 46.5 million tons (+2.3%), cement — 34.5 million tons (+3.5%), timber — 40.6 million tons (-2%), grain and milled products — 20 million tons (+10.5%), building materials — 157.8 million tons (+10.7%), ferrous ores and sulfur raw materials — 23.8 million tons (-6.4%) , chemicals and soda — 28.8 million tons (-0.7%), industrial raw materials and molding materials — 33.8 million tons (-6.4%), containerized cargo — 20.3 million tons (+12, 5%).

The loading of the network of JSC "Russian Railways" in December 2011 amounted to 105.5 million tons, exceeding the figure of the same period last year by 5.2%.

Cargo turnover in December 2011 increased compared to the same period last year by 12.2% to $ 188.1 billion tariff ton-km. Taking into account the turnover of goods wagons run empty during the same period increased by 13.1% to $ 239.8 billion ton-km.
