The national project Open World implemented in 32 schools in Kharkov

The national project "Open World" will involve 32 schools of the city of Kharkov and Pokotilovsky Lyceum.

As the director of the Department of Education of the City Council Demenko Olga, the first phase of the project will cover a period of 3 months following 55 schools in all regions of Ukraine.

Students and teachers seventh grade will be provided with personal mobile computers (called "electronic teacher") with connection to broadband Internet. Classrooms each school will receive an interactive whiteboard and digital media lab. 

In the first phase of NP "Open World" involved 14 companies leading IT market in Ukraine and international companies with advanced technologies in the educational sphere. The project supported the initiative of combining 8 of 14 contestants for the creation of educational content. Companies coalesced around an innovative platform of the American company "Truniti» (Trunitycompany).

Among them, LLC "Ben Weaver 2" (TM "Geniuses"), JSC "Sitronics Information Technologies", "Modern Educational Technology" (TM «Study-Buddy»), National Aerospace University. ME Zhukovsky "HAI" National Center "Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" LLC, "Edukom", LLC "Technomatix", LLC "Angler", the Romanian company «SIVECO». The consortium also joined Portal "Our School" and an international group of companies «SystemGroup».
