The new international airport terminal in Vladivostok will take passengers on June 1


International air terminal "Vladivostok" is ready to take passengers from June 1. This was reported to the acting Primorsky Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky during the retreat on the objects of the APEC summit, said the regional administration.

The reconstruction of the runway and the construction of a passenger terminal will increase several times the capacity of the airport "Vladivostok" and put it in some of the largest airports in the world today. In the summer of 2012, before the start of the main activities of the APEC summit, the airport has to work with a full load.

General Director of JSC "Vladivostok International Airport" Maxim Chetverikov reported that the reconstruction of the runway fully completed, ready to second parking lane, which will accommodate 32 aircraft of the first guests of the summit. Besides, now the builders have started providing engineering services of all the objects of the complex. In the near future will also open a boiler room, which will run on gas.

Another issue touched upon the capacity of the new terminal. The hall will install 5-twin pillars of passport control. Thus, while passengers will be able to serve 10 professionals Rosgranitsa.

Maxim Chetverikov said that to increase the capacity of the air terminal may establish additional jetways, but as long as it is not needed.
