In the Sverdlovsk region begins construction of infrastructure of special economic zone "Titanium Valley", so called because of the location near the world’s largest titanium producer, "VSMPO."
The corporation became the first resident of the zone. Authorities together with private investors are willing to invest 27 billion rubles.
In April, construction will begin infrastructure of special economic zone "Titanium Valley" in the Sverdlovsk region. Over the five years to develop the zone will be spent 27 billion rubles, the CEO of the Management Company "Titanium Valley" Artemy Kyzlasov.

As stated in the presentation of the SEZ, the first phase — 2012-2014 years — on an area of 295 hectares will be customs complex, railway station, freight yard, fire department, internal and external roads, first of all Verkhnesaldinskoye CHP and car parking. At this stage, the SEZ will be provided with electricity, gas, heat, water, internal networks and roads.
In the second stage — the years 2013-2016 — an area of 289 hectares will be built for residents of the freight yard, administrative and business center, a trestle between the first and the second stage, the second stage of CHP. The perimeter of the SEZ will be built business center, hotel, exhibition center and a training center.
According Kyzlasov, substation construction cost of about 8 billion expected to be implemented fully by private investors. Currently, the two companies are considering the creation of a special economic zone of generation, both of which are at the stage of technological solutions, he added.
By 2030, at the site of "Titanium Valley" is planned to construct 65 companies and all types of infrastructure networks. The total investment in 2031 will amount to 64.5 billion rubles, including 54.3 billion rubles — this investment by residents.

However, "VSMPO" has had in 2009 (prior to the establishment of SEZ "Titanium Valley") to open a Russian joint venture for processing titanium corporation Boeing — Ural Boeing Manufacturing. Tax incentives exist for other special economic zones. Only four of them in Russia. Except for the young "Titanium Valley", is already working SEZ "Alabuga" in the Republic of Tatarstan, the SEZ "Lipetsk" in Lipetsk and SEZ "Tolyatti" in the Samara region (close to the "AvtoVAZ").
