The new machine was put into operation in the mechanical assembly shop "MX-8" plant "Kirov-Energomash." Until the end of June of this year to complete the commissioning of the equipment and staff training.

CHIRON Mill 3000 will perform a high-speed five-axis machining of body parts, which will give an opportunity to significantly expand the range of complex high-precision products manufactured by the "Kirov-Energomash." With a well-sealed and easily accessible foreseeable processing zone, CHIRON Mill 3000 is easy to operate and maintain.

The priority use of the machine is defined treatment impellers, vanes, rotors and other parts for slozhnotehnologichnyh subsidiaries of JSC "Kirov Plant" (LLC "Kirov-Transmishn", LLC "Kirov-Stankomash", OOO "Russian forging plants") and external customers of the plant, including leading foreign corporations power complex (Siemens, Alstom) and traditional domestic partners Kirov plant — large shipyards (orders of the Navy), the oil and gas industry (supply for the facilities of OAO "Gazprom") and others.

Investment program for the modernization and expansion of machinery equipment factory "Kirov-Energomash" in 2012, more than 100 million rubles. In the 3rd quarter of this year to purchase another machining center — five-axis CNC Chiron Mill 800, designed for high-precision machining of turbine blades.
