December 27, LLC "Ural Locomotives" (Upper Pyshma, Sverdlovsk region) passed the Sverdlovsk railway locomotive "SINARA» № 146 — the last car produced in the past year.
In 2011, the plant produced 11 electric freight locomotives with asynchronous traction drive "GRANITE" (Series 2ES10) and 63 freight locomotive with commutator motor drive "SINARA" (2ES6 Series).
The company previously released the electric two different models at the same time. The specialists of the plant was a serious challenge to the certification tests of the first two prototypes of the locomotive "GRANIT" and to arrange for the assembly on a production line with a series of electric locomotives 2ES6. For this purpose, adjustments were made to the organization of production, changed some process streams, to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components.
In addition, in 2011, the plant continued to modernize production, improve consumer properties of electric locomotives, lower costs and reduce the costs of warranty and service of the machines.
