This is stated in the operative report of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat). At the corresponding date of the previous year figure also increased — by 123.5 thousand persons, or 0.08%.

The natural decrease of population in January-July 2013. decreased compared to the corresponding period of 2012. 14 thousand people. Migration gain fully compensated for the loss of numerical population and exceeded them in almost 5.5 times.

In the first seven months of this year Russia was an increase in the number of births (in 41 constituent entities) and a decrease in the number of deaths (in 48 regions). In the whole country in January-July 2013. The number of deaths exceeded the number of births by 2.7% (January-July 2012. — 4.1%) in 14 regions of the country, this excess was 1.5-1.8 times.
