This is one of the most important elements of the defense plant.
In early July, was installed base farm reactor shaft of the first power. On the second power unit of Leningrad NPP-2 in the turbine building was completed unit of construction steel at elevations + 25.00 +30.00 and for installation of crane girders. The next step — work on the device crane girders — it will work on a large front Mehanomontazh equipment. Following this, the builders will gather the main bridge crane 440 tons required for installation of the main technological equipment of the turbine building.

At the end of July the civil works in the building of the first power supply, began installation of ventilation and drainage technology. Already completed the installation of inserts and floor installation at ground level, work is continuing on the sinking of a system of electric lighting of the building. Completion of this work refers to the plans in August.
At last, the HQ management settings talked about the main tasks for the second half — to prepare the site for installation of the reactor vessel of the first unit and germoobem for operation in the autumn-winter period. And in the following year, 2014, RTN expect from a license for the construction of the third and fourth unit of Leningrad NPP-2. Now the second stage of Leningrad NPP-2 is at the stage of intensive design.
