The Russian national team won the pentathlon at the European Championships in the women’s relay

July 9 in Sofia (Bulgaria) at the European Championships in modern pentathlon Russian women’s team won the gold medal in the relay. European champions in our team were Anna Savchenko, Donata Rimshayte and Svetlana Lebedeva.

The Russians started the tournament’s great, winning fencing and became the second in the swim, and then led the standings with a 100-point advantage over the team of Poland. However, jumping Polish athletes have managed to reduce the gap to 64 points, having started in a food processor just 16 seconds later our girls.

On the course, combine the Polish national team managed to win just one second. The first Russians crossed the finish line, winning the gold medal, which was the third in the tournament.
