The submarine Alrosa Black Sea Fleet arrived in Baltiysk for repairs

Diesel submarine (PL) "Alrosa" Black Sea Fleet under the command of Captain 2nd Rank Anton Zaytsev, having made the transition from Sevastopol mezhflotsky, came to the Baltic Fleet. On May 12, the submarine left the main base of the Black Sea Fleet, the Black Sea straits and was completed the tasks in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

Off the coast of Spain submarine "Alrosa" together with the Black Sea Fleet ships took part in international exercises in search and rescue of submarines in distress "Bold Monarch-2011", in which, in practice, worked out the compatibility of foreign and domestic funds rescue divers. During the exercises the Russian submarine visited the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Gen. Nikolai Makarov, chief of the General Staff of the Navy, Admiral Alexander Tatarinov and Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Giampaolo Di Paolo.

The commander of the campaign captain Anatoly Varochkin noted that the exercises and the transition as a whole was successful, "contingency situation was not on board, the crew is healthy. At the moment the submarine after a hike granted rest. "
The submarine "Alrosa" came to the Baltic Fleet for planned maintenance.
