The world’s largest model of Borodin appeared in St. Petersburg

Military-Historical Museum of St. Petersburg has replenished the world’s largest model of one of the episodes of the battle of Borodino, told reporters on Wednesday Adviser of Culture, Ministry of Defence Anne Kasatkina.

"At the famous battle field located about 1,500 three-dimensional figures of soldiers of the cavalry, infantry, officers and generals of the opposing armies. All figures are presented in an authentic military uniform of World War II in 1812, as the landscape of the area, beautifully created by the author Michael Parfenov," — she said.

Kasatkina added that the new exhibit, "Borodin‘s" is located in the hall dedicated to General Field Marshal Mikhail Kutuzov, and occupy a central place among the exhibits on the theme of war in 1812.
