TMK shipped products for the construction of offshore pipelines, ONGC

Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of tubular products for the oil and gas industry, has shipped lot of pipes intended for the construction of offshore pipelines in the oil fields of the Indian state oil company, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).
  

The composition of the party got 3,500 tons OIL & GAS pipe diameter 273.1 mm and 323.9 of strength X60QS, produced at the Volga Pipe Plant (VPP), which is part of TMK. Products shipped to the address of the contractor Leighton Welspun, which is building the pipeline for ONGC and will be used in projects Heera RDPhase-II Pipeline Project and Additional Pipeline Project. Their implementation is associated with the expansion of production of hydrocarbons from the field Mumbai High, which is located in the Arabian Sea in a few tens of kilometers to the west of the Indian city of Mumbai. The projects to May 2014 Leighton Welspun plans to build for ONGC 75 km and 77 km of subsea pipelines, respectively.

This is not the first shipment of TMK for the needs of the largest oil and gas company in India. TMK for a number of years successfully supplying OIL & GAS pipe for ONGC. In particular, during 2011-2012. in India has shipped over 20 thousand tons of pipes of X60 strength for the construction of offshore pipelines at a depth of 70 to 90 meters.

Currently, TMK has applied to participate in other tenders ONGC for supply of pipes for offshore pipelines, including deepwater projects carried out at depths of up to 500 meters.

TMK over the years steadily expanded the supply of its products — Casing, tubing and pipes OIL & GAS — for the implementation of offshore projects. In 2010, the column tubing with premium connections TMK FMT was lowered into the well of the Yu. Korchagin field in the Caspian Sea (developing Lukoil), which was the first use of Russian-made tubes in the regeneration of offshore well. Company exported and provided services in support runs of pipe columns on Yurkharovskoye field NOVATEK (the Russian Arctic shelf) deposits "White Cat" and "The White Tiger" (Zarubezhneft and Vietnam), as well as offshore projects in the Gulf of Mexico. The company’s products are also used for the construction of subsea pipelines at the Yu. B. Filanovskogo (Lukoil) in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea, and in some other offshore projects.

TMK PF premium connections have qualified oil company ADCO.

Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), one of the leading suppliers of tubular products for the oil and gas industry, has received official notification from the company’s Abu Dhabi Company for Offshore Oil Operations (ADCO) for recognition of the Volga Pipe Plant (VPP) approved supplier of threaded pipes with premium connections TMK PF.

In 2012, TMK delivered the first casing with premium connections made VPP and accessories to the ADCO. The scope of delivery includes casing diameter 7 "(177.8 mm) threaded TMK PF and four pipe. TMK products was used in three different wells. According to the results slopes pipe strings TMK PF premium connections were qualified for further use in the fields of ADCO.
