In the Asia-Pacific Energy Forum ATEF 2013, which opens today on the island of Russian in Vladivostok, will bring together over 250 delegates from 62 countries.
The main theme of the forum will be energy security in the Asia-Pacific region, reports
"From 27 to 30 May on the island of Russian in Vladivostok under the auspices of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) will host the Asia-Pacific Energy Forum ATEF-2013" — a spokesman said.
It is expected that the forum will be the energy ministers of the countries — members of ESCAP (Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific).
As part of the ATEF a business forum, "Creating the future of energy in the Asia-Pacific region." It includes two panel discussions: the first involves the discussion of the future of energy-Pacific, the second — the acceleration of the pace of innovation and technological progress in the energy sector.
"There will also be a round table at the ministerial level, in the framework of which will be discussed opportunities for cooperation and partnership for a sustainable energy future in the Asia Pacific region. Moreover, will discuss the role of regional cooperation on energy security," — said the source.
