Tomsk scientists learned how to make flexible plastic from himothodov

Scientists Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) found a way to get out of chemical wastes plastic, more durable, flexible and resilient than usual, the material can be used in the manufacture of car bumpers or body armor, said vice-rector of the university of Science and Innovation Alexei Pestryakov.

According Pestryakova, the main difference in the developed TPU plastic — a three-dimensional cross-linked structure of links, which gives it unique properties. The agency’s interlocutor said that the polymers are formed from chemical wastes. "This is a very viscous polymers, flexible, but very difficult to break down.
