September 30 builders commissioned a Trans-Baikal regional perinatal center in Chita.
State health facilities will be 772 units, including 157 doctors, 300 paramedics medium, the rest — the nurses and technicians.
Construction of the center started on co-financing in 2009 — according to the order of the Government of the Russian Federation. The estimated cost of the project amounted to 2.1 billion rubles. The construction and installation work spent about 940 million rubles, the cost of medical equipment — 872 million rubles.
The main task of the center — the widespread introduction of modern medical technologies in the practice of providing specialized care for women with complications arising during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, as well as help premature babies with low and extremely low birth weight (less than two pounds). The projected number of births per year — 3-3,5 thousand, which represents 20% of all births in the region.
All wards and perinatal center consists of single and double rooms equipped with sanitary facilities and showers. Paying attention to the working conditions and health care workers. There are rest rooms, room of psychological relief.
Features of the application building technologies that center is equipped with modern air-purification system, using new building materials, as well as fragmented flows of patients. In addition, in the perinatal center will be organized entirely new branch of the Trans-Baikal region of high reproductive technologies on the basis of which the procedure will be carried out in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer.
Education of medical personnel is carried out mainly at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education Chita State Medical Academy, a number of experts aimed at training the scientific basis for the central cities of Moscow and Samara.
It is planned to conduct training field training with the participation of leading experts in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology from different regions of the country.
