Ukraine gave India the third batch of upgraded AN-32

Ukraine gave India the third game of light transport An-32, upgraded the facilities of Ukrainian defense by order of the Indian Air Force.

The party of five aircraft vehicles departed from Kiev in Kanpur on Monday morning.

According to the Ukrainian side, transfer to the customer the next batch of upgraded AN-32 is scheduled for the spring.

The first 10 upgraded aircraft departed for India in 2011: first batch in May, the second — in September.

The contract, worth about $ 400 million to repair and upgrade 105 machines AN-32 of Indian Air Force was signed in July 2009 between the Air Force and the Ministry of Defence of India "daughter" public company "Ukrspecexport" — the "Spetstehnoeksport."

According to the contract, in Ukraine 40 aircraft will be upgraded, the rest of equipment — for the Indian Air Force aircraft factory BRD-1 at Kanpur (North India). The executors of the contract are the "Antonov" and SE "Factory 410 th Civil Aviation" (both — Kiev).
